Heliodreams : Mediterranean Dream Studies

Inspired by a series of four original metallic watercolor paintings created in Pylos, Greece, Heliodreams explores the relationship between sunlight, color, perception, and transformation. Developed beneath the shifting Mediterranean sun, these works emerged through experiments with light, evolving into a visual language that blends nature, mythology, symbolism, and dreams.

About the Artwork

Theia Orchid explores the relationship between perception and transformation. Unfolding in luminous shades of violet, pink, gold, and green, the flower reveals a watchful eye at its center, creating a composition that feels both botanical and otherworldly.

Named after Theia, the Greek Titan associated with light and sight, the piece reflects the central themes of Heliodreams: illumination, perception, and the transformative power of seeing. Like sunlight revealing colour, Theia Orchid speaks to the moments when greater awareness allows something previously unseen to emerge.

Available in either full colour or black and grey, Theia Orchid balances mystery and elegance, transforming a rare botanical form into a living symbol of vision, insight, and discovery.
