Heliodreams : Mediterranean Dream Studies

Inspired by a series of four original metallic watercolor paintings created in Pylos, Greece, Heliodreams explores the relationship between sunlight, color, perception, and transformation. Developed beneath the shifting Mediterranean sun, these works emerged through experiments with light, evolving into a visual language that blends nature, mythology, symbolism, and dreams.

About the Artwork

Helios Bloom merges the radiance of the Mediterranean sun with the organic beauty of a dreamlike orchid. Luminous blue petals edged with vibrant reds unfurl around a glowing golden center, while twisting tendrils extend outward, suggesting movement, vitality, and continual growth.

Behind the flower, a brilliant sun glows in gradients of orange and crimson, grounding the composition in warmth and balance. Inspired by the intense light and ancient landscapes of Greece, the interplay between botanical life and solar energy evokes themes of transformation, renewal, and the continual process of becoming.

Available in either full colour or black and grey, Helios Bloom celebrates the life-giving force of the sun and the beauty that emerges when nature, memory, and imagination intertwine.
