Smart Design Mart (established in 2009) is a local design fair showcasing some of the best independent designers and artists in Montreal. In 2012, the SDM peeps gave me an opportunity to tattoo clients out of a site-specific booth that was existing in a 35 000 square foot industrial space housing over 100 designers. I exhibited various illustrations and simultaneously launched my triptych series of SCIATICA flash tattoo silk screen prints: Sciatica, Fleur De Lis Bee and Otylia.

The drawings were silkscreened in black on hand-painted, coffee-stained paper. I worked with Station 16 to do the silk screening in editions of 50 per print. All KB flash sheets are original illustrations and are only tattooed once.
