Heliodreams : Mediterranean Dream Studies

Inspired by a series of four original metallic watercolor paintings created in Pylos, Greece, Heliodreams explores the relationship between sunlight, color, perception, and transformation. Developed beneath the shifting Mediterranean sun, these works emerged through experiments with metallic watercolor pigments, evolving into a visual language that blends nature, mythology, symbolism, and dreams.

About the Artwork

Oyster Fountain explores the hidden treasures carried within the depths of the sea. A vertical arrangement of luminous oyster shells unfolds like a living totem, connected by radiant pearls and flowing ribbons that suggest movement, growth, and the passage of time.

Soft iridescent blues, seafoam greens, warm golds, and delicate pinks evoke the shifting colours of the Mediterranean coastline. The pearls emerge as symbols of wisdom, transformation, and beauty formed through experience, while the layered shells speak to protection, memory, and the mysteries concealed beneath the surface.

Inspired by the rhythms of the ocean and the treasures revealed through patience, Oyster Fountain invites contemplation of what is cultivated over time. Like a pearl formed within an oyster, the piece reflects the idea that life's greatest gifts often emerge through transformation.

Available in either full colour or black and grey, Oyster Fountain balances elegance and symbolism, celebrating the beauty, resilience, and hidden abundance found within the natural world.
